Google now uses recyclable materials
Over the last couple of years, sustainability and Eco-friendly products have been trending as a great way of showing that your company cares about the environment. The recycling of e-waste has been a major step that big tech giants have been eager to implement. Google has taken initiative and blazed the trail as they announced that their products now make use of recycled materials. Products like the Pixel smartphones and Nest Smart Devices will be made using recycled materials. while not made entirely of e-waste, they will at least include recycled materials somewhere in the product. The Pixel 5‘s back is made completely out of recycled aluminum and the Nest audio is made of 70% recycled plastic. This is a great move as it not only helps the environment but also optimizes the raw material supply chain, thereby making sourcing design materials quicker and easier.
